Rev. Dr. Trish Harleston is visionary and founder of Trish Harleston Ministries, a religious non-profit organization which serves as host for the THM Liquidated Ladies Conferences and Events.
Rev. Harleston holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Management from Shaw University, a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling from Apex School of Theology and a Doctorate in Christian Ministry from the North Carolina Theological Seminary. She is a Certified Clinical Christian Counseling Professional certified through the International Association of Christian Counseling Professionals. As a licensed and ordained minister, she has been a highly-requested preacher and conference presenter throughout the region.
Rev. Harleston is a member of the Durham Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. where she serves as Regional Chaplain for the South Atlantic Region of the Sorority. Some of her other areas of community and public service include Board of Directors for the United Christian Campus Ministries at NCCU, A Counselor for the CAPS Substance Abuse Program, and as a member of the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance of Durham and Surrounding Areas.
She has received several awards in ministry and in community service, most notably including a 2016 recipient of the Spectacular Magazine Woman of the Year for Community Service; Who’s Who in Black Raleigh and Durham as a Spiritual Leader; a 2017 recipient of the Druecillar Fordham Award in Pastoral Excellence by the Wayland Baptist Theological Seminary and the Dissertation of Literary Excellence Award for her doctoral research work. She was also awarded the 2017 Merrick Fisher Spaulding Award for Public Service through her local sorority chapter.
In addition to serving as preacher, teacher, conference speaker and public servant, Rev. Harleston is a published author of two publications: Monti’s Story; Love Lifted Me and a Devotional and Prayer Journal entitled Weekly Word for your Daily Walk. She is also a Contributing Author for a newly released publication. As an author, she has been featured with the Delta Authors on Tour in both NC and SC, and an invited author in the Author’s Pavilion in Houston, TX and will be a featured author and presenter in the upcoming Christian Book Lovers Retreat. She is also host of the weekly television show “Weekly Words of Inspiration” on KNTV Networks / BGNTV. Finally, as an inspirational blogger for the past 8 years, Rev. Harleston authors a weekly message via social media distribution.
Dr. Harleston also cherishes the time she spends with her family. She is married to Deacon Charles Harleston, has two adult children, Evin and Nikki (husband-Bryant), and two adorable grandchildren, Bryson and Skylar. Rev. Harleston stands on the scripture in 1 Corinthians 15: 10 “I am what I am by the grace of God”.
